Rose Ann Broom Stewart, 77, of Woodville, went dwelling to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, in Lake Jackson, TX.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 5, 2021 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Stringer and Griffin Funeral Property Chapel in Woodville with funeral company commencing at 4 p.m. Burial will comply with in Shady Grove Cemetery around Woodville. Officiating will be Brother Michael Kane. Serving as Pallbearers will be James Blaine Stewart, Mark Stewart, Luke Voth, Jack Voth, Eric Riley, Dwayne Neff and Kenny Wayne Broom.
Rose was born April 26, 1944, to Oscar W. and Lucy Riley Broom in Woodville, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Woodville where she was blessed with lifelong pals and relatives.
Rose started work at The Magnolia Restaurant in Woodville at the age of 13 to help her huge and loving family members. It was at Magnolia Café exactly where she achieved the enjoy of her life, Gable Lee Stewart, at the age of 19. Rose and Gabe were being fortunately married from 1964 until eventually his dying in 2001. While she did not mature up with much in the way of materials factors, she was richly blessed with a loving and faithful loved ones whom she cherished investing time with. Rose also appreciated heading to church, conversing with buddies, and reading. Rose liked the Lord with all her heart and never ever skipped a prospect to share the appreciate of Jesus Christ. She is survived by her two sons and family members, Kevin Lee Stewart of Woodville, Bart Alan Stewart and spouse, Melissa Stewart, of Lake Jackson, TX brothers, Oscar Broom of Woodville, Jack Broom and wife, Karen, of Longview, Phillip Broom and spouse, Kathy, of Woodville, Gary Broom and wife, Ann, of DeQuincy, LA, and James Broom and wife, Pauline, of Jasper sisters, Jenny Wilkerson of Huntington and Margie Riley and husband, Jerry, of Kountze sister-in-law, Alice Stewart of Troup grandchildren Cassie, Audrie, Harli Grace, Hunter, Haleigh, and Gabriel. She was also blessed by 5 good grandchildren Anthony, Josalyn, Myla, Antonio, Kason and 1 on the way.
