‘We’re not in fear’: Sarah Ferguson unfazed by Murdoch backlash soon after Fox News unique and states a lot more to appear | Amanda Meade

The ABC reporter Sarah Ferguson swears she is “not in fear” of the backlash to her 4 Corners report and claims “fun times ahead” when episode two of her expose of Fox News airs on Monday.

If the reaction from the Murdoch press to the very first episode is any sign – there were 45 stories posted throughout the media mogul’s community newspapers – Aunty should really get ready for a next whole-scale attack from Information Corp Australia following week.

News’ most strident mouthpiece, Andrew Bolt, reported the software Fox and the Major Lie showed that the ABC is biased and “obsessed with Murdoch, and specifically with his Fox News and Sky News”. But Ferguson defends the preference of subject matter, stating “there are much less a lot more essential tales to glimpse at in America correct now”.

“I just say this … episode just one was very good, episode two genuinely heats up,” the Washington correspondent informed broadcaster Virginia Trioli on ABC Radio on Thursday.

“Episode a person was kind of laying out the landscape for how Fox received to this issue. Episode two is exactly where [we examine] the large lawsuits that are now underneath way in The united states from Fox for their [alleged] position in spreading ‘the massive lie’.”

Soon after days of criticism across all News mastheads – which the firm suggests was not coordinated – and a lawful risk from Fox Information, Ferguson remains unfazed.

“We’re not in concern of nearly anything,” she stated.

The temperature keeps rising, and the monsoons are blowing through, so it shouldn’t be so surprising, the Old Pueblo is home to the hottest team too.

FC Tucson beat New England Revolution II 4-2 Saturday night in Kino North Stadium to improve to an even slate of 4-4-4 in the United Soccer League – League One (USL-1) and the victory moved the Men in Black into a grouping of clubs within striking distance of the top of the league but still on the edge of falling off completely.

With 16 points, FC Tucson is the only team in the USL-1 with only one setback against multiple wins over the last five matches. The team is still considered a long shot to move into the top level thanks to a very rough start but one more victory could see the program move safely into realm of competitor rather than doormat.

The team went 0-2-2 in June and FC Tucson president Amanda Powers made the difficult but correct move, as she relayed to me during the undefeated and championship season of the FC Tucson Women program she successfully oversaw this summer, to hand the coaching duties of the men back to current Vice President of Soccer Operations and former head coach Jon Pearlman
