Wendy’s shut its City Heart restaurant June 30 as its lease expired.

“We have some other development plans and new locations planned more than the up coming pair of  many years, so that is why we made the decision we would not renew the lease,” claimed Susie Schulz, director of profits with franchise operator Meritage Hospitality Team Inc. in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Schulz mentioned July 6 that Meritage has 44 eating places in the Jacksonville area.

The 22 staff members at the 4907 Massive Island Travel restaurant had been transferred to two nearby spots.

Schulz explained Meritage is searching at other destinations in the higher Jacksonville industry.

Duval County assets data present the 3,502-sq.-foot cafe was developed in 2005 on just about an acre. The site is assessed at $1.77 million for tax needs.

The Purchasing Middle Group is internet marketing the “rare travel-via opportunity” of a totally free-standing restaurant for lease in the St. Johns Town Centre place, which is at northwest Butler Boulevard and Interstate 295.

The 22 workers at the 4907 Large Island Push cafe had been transferred to two nearby destinations.

The promoting brochure suggests Huge Island Travel connects to the following phase of the City Middle, which is designed to include things like formerly recognized as Restoration Components a resort and other leisure venues. RH is below development for completion this calendar year.

The site is at a signalized intersection at Massive Island and Buckhead Branch drives.
