Audrey Hepburn’s sons recall their upbringing exterior of Hollywood: ‘The most important detail was family’

It was 1967 when Audrey Hepburn, a single of the greatest-paid ladies in Hollywood, walked away from her thriving acting vocation to take on a fully distinctive part – that of full-time mother.

The beloved monitor star-turned-humanitarian welcomed a son named Sean Hepburn Ferrer in 1960, followed by Luca Dotti in 1970.

“My mom was pretty existing – choosing me up at college, worrying about schooling, items like that,” Dotti, 51, not long ago recalled to Closer Weekly.

Hepburn Ferrer, 60, told the outlet that it would not be right up until his teenage years that the now-film producer identified his mother’s flicks.

“I was again property in Switzerland,” he said. “[I found that] my mother saved all her awards, film memorabilia, costumes and images in the attic. That is how I to start with found her movies.”

Hepburn Ferrer claimed that despite her success in Hollywood, family members generally came very first for his mom.

“When I had to go to faculty and could no longer travel to be with her on the set, she gave up her job,” he stated. “She felt the most precious point was family.”
