American LGBTQ+ Museum coming to N.Y.C.’s oldest museum as aspect of expansion

New York’s oldest museum will soon increase to integrate a museum devoted to LGBTQ record. 

Reps for the New-York Historical Society, set up in 1804, declared before this month that the museum will broaden by 70,000 square toes to include things like house for The American LGBTQ+ Museum

The new museum is slated to open up its doorways in 2024 — though it has currently started hosting digital applications — and will be New York City’s 1st museum focused to global, nationwide and local LGBTQ heritage and society.
