Plans to Build a Rabbit Hutch With Protection From the Weather

Any outdoor hutch should provide your rabbit with sufficient protection from the weather. Depending on your location, your primary concern may be sun, rain, wind or snow. While all of these must be taken into consideration, each location will have its own challenges.

If you live in the north and get a lot of snow in the winter, you will want to find a plan with a reinforced roof. The roof should be slanted, allowing snow to slide off. The hutch should have enough solid walls to allow the rabbit a place to huddle to conserve body heat.

If your cage does not have several solid walls, you can put in a wooden or plastic house for your rabbit to hide in that will help them keep warm. Straw or hay can also be stuffed into the cage to help your rabbit stay warm.

If you get a lot of wind and rain, the slanted roof will still help. Make sure your hutch plans offer enough eaves around the edges of the roof to keep rain from blowing into the cage or dripping into the feed. The hutch should offer protection against the wind so the rabbit has a protected place to stay.

If sun is your primary problem, you will want a nice shady spot to situate your hutch. Make the eaves large enough to cast shadows over any openings into the hutch.

To get the maximum value from your pond or water feature, you need to be able to enjoy it in the evening as well as during the day. Fountains, cascades and rills, with their constant motion, are certainly one of the most visually interesting candidates for illuminating at night, while lighting still ponds allows you to soak up their serenity in the stillness of summer dusk.

But before you reach for your garden lighting catalogue, there are one or two dos and don’ts to bear in mind when lighting your pond. First, if you will forgive a statement of the blindingly obvious, is to make sure the lights are fully waterproof. Look for the Ingress Protection number IP68. Not Today, But Every Day Is “Mother’s Day”

A woman is a daughter, sister, and wife but above all, she plays the role of being a Mother. A day would never be enough to let her know how special she is but there’s no harm in celebrating a day where we could all tell our mothers that we owe our life to them. Although we deny listening to her advice most of the time, we know that a mother knows best. From our first word to our first friend, our first teeth to the first fall, our moms have been the most integral part of the journey. A mother would know when her child is in pain and when they are hungry, and there can be no better cure than sleeping in her lap. She is the first teacher of our life and the only one who never punished us for the wrong deeds rather taught us the lesson, good or bad.

I rely on her not only during my needs but during all the turmoil of my life because there’s no better guide than her. 27 Daily Affirmations to Boost Self-Esteem and Develop Self-Confidence

If you look at any of your problem areas in your life, you’ll probably find they are rooted in faulty and limited beliefs, imbedded deeply in our subconscious mind. Because they are in the subconscious mind, often you are not aware that they are the source of your thoughts and actions.

These negative and dis-empowering beliefs, are the reason our life does not work as well as we would like it to; they are the barriers and blockages that stop us from reaching our full potential.

I believe these are the source of our self-sabotage, and through daily affirmations and declarations we are able to imprint in our mind a new way of thinking, new beliefs that are empowering, boost self-esteem and develop self-confidence.

Today, kids under 9 spend more than 2 hours on mobiles and tablets,says a reputable recent survey online. This tendency of screen-addiction for kids between ages 3-9 shows a sharp rise in 2011-when kids of the same age group used to spend 15 minutes per day on their screens. However, with a high 200% increase in screen time usage in 2017, this is creating a high alarm among parents and has become a viral issue on social media.

Why do Kids do it?
